Day 67, country #10 of the trip, 39 of a lifetime
Traveling around Europe can bring on a case of the never-ending churches. Every city has a spectacular house of worship and at a certain point they all just blend together into one big sacred mass. But then there is Sagrada Família in Barcelona.
Designed by beloved artist Gaudi, it has an appeal that goes beyond religion. It is a piece of art that takes up an entire city block. The details are dizzying in there number and strangeness. For sure this is a must see in Barcelona. And to think I almost missed it due to church fatigue. Luckily I had a local to set me straight on my path to the house of the Lord. Amen!
